Some employees at my school told me about this classic car show and family picnic that was being held on Labor Day. We decided to surprise the kids with this fun outing. Aside from the sweltering heat, we had a nice time. Chris and Mason really enjoyed all of the classic cars. Mason seemed especially drawn to the yellow cars....hmmmmm. Chris enjoyed checking out the 69 Cameros! There were a ton of games and activities for the kids...all free! I simply had fun watching the kids have fun! With Chris' new work schedule, he actually gets weekends and holidays off! WOW we are not used to that! It was fun to have him along, even if he kept complaining about the sun (poor fare skinned, sweating like a beast man!). He should have worn sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat!
